Our grappling classes are based on Judo, wrestling, and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. BJJ is a martial art combat sport that emphasizes ground-fighting. The aim is generally to use a variety of grappling holds to advance in positioning, and to finally obtain a submission hold, referred to as "position before submission." In 1993, BJJ was made famous by Royce Gracie when he used it in UFC.
In this class you will learn everything from takedowns and throws to locks and submissions.
